Experience

Gina Gallo has been providing financial advice to Brevard County residents since 1993. She earned the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner™ in 1997.  In 2003, she earned the designation of Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ (CDFA). Since January 2003, she has co-owned Gallo and Russell, a Registered Investment Advisor firm.  Prior to Gallo & Russell she worked for a local Bank Brokerage firm and was self-employed through her own corporation.

As a CFP® and CDFA™ Professional, Gallo provides expert assistance on Financial Planning topics, Investment Management services and Consultations and Expert Witness Testimony on matters related to Dissolution of Marriage.  She is also Collaboratively Trained and has worked on multiple Collaborative Law cases as the Financial Neutral since the discipline was introduced in Brevard County in 2007.

Gallo has served as an Adjunct Instructor at Florida Institute of Technology. At FIT, she taught courses on Financial Planning.  Gallo has made the presentation, "The Financial Ramifications of Divorce" at various divorce related seminars. She has been a guest speaker at "What to Expect When Filing for a Divorce" sponsored by Brevard Community College and the 18th Judicial Circuit Judges.

Education
Gina Gallo has lived in the Brevard County area for most of the past 28 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida in 1991.  Gallo earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Florida Tech in 1998.   She maintains her CFP® and CDFA™ professional designations by meeting extensive continuing education requirements each year.

Community Involvement
Gallo is very active in Brevard County charitable groups.  She has spent many years volunteering for various women and children’s organizations.  She is the Past President of the "Hip Chicks," a non-profit organization made up of dynamic women in business, committed to charitable causes and has served on the Take Stock in Children Leadership Council, a division of Brevard Schools Foundation for the past 4 years.  She also serves as Secretary for the Melbourne Football and Cheerleading Association through the Melbourne Police Athletic League.
